Price Catalog

The configurable Price Catalog allows users to build different categories of work and work tasks within those categories. These different types of work tasks are used to build an estimate of work for a client. View and manage your Price Catalog by navigating to the Admin panel and clicking the Price Catalog option. 

There are 3 Catalog Category Types that use different Rate attributes to determine the price of a work item. Within any of the Category Types, a user can create multiple work categories and work items.

1. Hourly Rate 
   • Tasks are priced based on an Hourly Rate
2. Variable Rate
   • DBH - Tasks are priced based on a Tree’s DBH
   • Height - Tasks are priced based on a Tree’s Height
3. Flat Rate
   • Tasks are based on a Flat Rate price

Create a New Rate Category (Hourly, Variable, or Flat):

1. Select a Rate Type button (Hourly, Variable, Flat) and click +NEW
2. Complete the category form:
1. Name - Unique name for the Rate Category
2. Default Rate - Default Rate for new Work Items within the Category
3. Pricing Method*  - Default Variable Rate for new Work Items within the Category (DBH or Height)
4. Status - Ensure the status is Active (Default)
5. Description - A brief Description of the Rate category
3. Save the new Rate Category

*Only applies for Variable Rate Categories

Edit an Existing Rate Category (Hourly, Variable, or Flat):

1. Select the Rate Category you would like to edit by clicking on the row 
2. Click the Edit button
3. Update any information in the form and click Save

Create a New Work Item within a Category:

1. Select a Rate Category by clicking on the row
2. From within a Rate Category, select +NEW 
3. Complete the Work Item form:
1. Name - Unique name for the Work Item 
2. Status - Ensure the status is Active (Default)
3. Rate -  Price for new Work Item 
4. Description - A brief Description of the Work Item 
4. Save the new Work Item

Edit an Existing Work Item

1. Select the Work Item you would like to edit by clicking on the row
2. Update any information in the form and click Save
